Homerville for the Holidays 2015

Homerville for the Holidays is our annual Christmas celebration and our theme this year is Christmas Traditions!  On Saturday, December 5, Main Street will host activities including Breakfast with Santa at HUMC, carriage and train rides, locally made-locally grown retail market, Christmas Cash prizes, cookie decorating and craft tables, parade, a "Snow Day" sponsored by Lee Container, and much more!  For those interested in participating in the parade or market, entry forms can be downloaded below.  We're looking forward to seeing y'all there!

2015 Fall Carnival

It's that time of year again, and we're working on the second Fall Carnival! It may be a bit early for some of you, but we need to get an idea of who would like to participate again this year. The date is set for Thursday, October 29. This is the same night as Trick or Treat. The Carnival time is 4-6 p.m. rather than 4-7 p.m. to make sure everyone has time to enjoy trick or treating from 6-8 p.m. if they choose. This information will run in the Clinch County News, but please pass the word along. We would like to have as much community involvement as possible!

Below is the activity sign-up link with Sign Up Genius. I would love to have everyone involved again; y'all made it so special last year! Please take a look over the list, and let us know which activities you might be interested in committing to.  You can also call 912-599-0204 for more details!

4th of July Celebration

The City of Homerville had an exciting event for the Fourth of July.  The event included fireworks, water slides, and a street dance.  During the afternoon of the 4th, free hotdogs for kids and water slides were located by the Homerville Municipal Complex.  The band and fireworks were at the Rec Park and SO much fun! Be sure to mark your calendars for next year!

Homerville for the Holidays

Homerville for the Holidays is our annual Christmas celebration!  On December 6, 2014, Main Street welcomed an estimated 2,000 people to downtown Homerville.  Activities included Breakfast with Santa at HUMC, carriage and train rides, locally made-locally grown retail market, Christmas Cash prizes, cookie decorating and craft tables, parade, late-night Christmas movie, a "Snow Day" sponsored by Lee Container, and much more!

Events like H4H don't happen without support from our wonderful community.  Thank  you to every person that volunteered, our sponsors, vendors, the City of Homerville, and everyone who came out and showed their "local love"! We have a very special community!
